I hate it when I’m working on a website and I know exactly what I want or what I’m trying to achieve and I can’t for the life of me figure out the code to make it look right.
It’s so frustrating.
People always make fun of me because I’m in a constant state of writing letters and emails to companies when they do something that bothers me. I’m not mean about it, but I totally milk the concept of customer service.
I got this skill from my mom. When I was younger, and even still to this day, she would write letters when she felt mistreated by a company. I remember one time I got a broken Pokeball from Burger King and a week later, I had all six collector edition Pokeballs.
My mom always said “See you mock me, but one day you’re gonna do it too!”.
I wrote a letter to jetBlue one time after my headset jack didn’t work and I didn’t get my bag of blue chips and I received a personal letter from the VP of Operations, a box of blue chips, and a $100 credit towards any flight.
Sure enough, here I am.
Last week, I got prematurely charged for my hosting account and three emails, one phone call and a support ticket later, I had a free domain name and a $50.00 credit to my account as well as a personal phone call from the CEO/Owner of my hosting company.
See you mock me, but one day you’re gonna do it too!
So today is “one of those days”. I’m not sure why exactly, but EVERYTHING is pissing me off. My mom has been home for a good 12 minutes and I’ve only had to communicate with her three times, and everytime I feel myself getting angry and I don’t know why. We must not be on the same wavelength and it’s just bugging me. I don’t know, maybe I need to just take a deep breath but everything is making me angry haha.
Did you know that in Saudi Arabia, gas is only .35 cents a gallon? Yeah, it made me angry too.
