We Weren’t Lost! I Swear!

Today was a pretty fun night. After this afternoon’s Mother’s Day Adventure and pointless standing in Carvel, the night ended up being pretty cool. TJ and I went to visit Whitney right before the store closed and then we drove around pointlessly, as always. We went to a 7-11 in Moriches and then ended up driving all the way to Rt. 25 and passed through Ridge, Middle Island, Longwood.

We saw this half-lit parking lot carnival and pulled in. It looked like a scene from 8-Mile. We were totally going to get knifed if we stayed. So we (I) peeled out and we finally found the expressway a little while later. 

Long Island is kind of cool. If you really think about it, if you’re ever lost on Long Island, just head north or south until you hit water or the Long Island Expressway and you can find everything!  

The entire time we were waiting for Club BLI. So it’s finally 11 PM and they play one semi-ok song and then they have 15 minutes of commercials followed by 20 minutes of really crappy music. We were pissed.  

So we finally made it home. The Santa Clause 3 is just starting so I’m pretty excited, as I’ve never seen it.
