The iPad Pre-Order Saga Continues

Okay, this is getting a tad bit ridiculous now. But for the interest of those already involved or in the same position (such as Jennika), here ya go. 

I went to my local Apple Store today and talked to one of the Specialists there. My question was “I reserved an iPad - will there be one with my name on it waiting for me or am is it a first come, first serve kind of thing?”. 

His answer made me really happy. He said, if you reserved an iPad for in-store pickup, there will be one available for you. There will be a line that you have to wait on but if you come at a reasonable time (meaning before 3PM when the reservation ends) you should not have a problem getting one. The stores are going to have enough stock for all of the reservations as well as more for walk-ins that want to buy one on the day of. 

I also called the Apple Store that I reserved from and got the same answer. I was told that the store opens at 9AM and that there will be an iPad waiting there for me. 

So I think I’m set. (Hopefully)
