To iPad, or Not To iPad… that is the question.

For the first time in a really long time, a good friend said to me “Hey, so April 3rd the iPad comes out huh?” and I went “Wait…what?”. In my defense, I had a REALLY busy day and didn’t even get to take out my laptop. I quickly looked up all my usual sites and saw that Apple finally announced the pre-order information for the iPad.
So we did it. We had the conversation. “So, are you getting one?” “Yeah, I think so. Are you getting one?” “Yeah, I think I am too.”
I’m almost convinced I’m going to get one - if for no other reason than I know that however impractical it is, I will still use it and use it a lot. I bring my laptop almost anywhere but if my iPhone and (future) iPad can balance eachother’s weaknesses out, I might not even have to.
I’m also really excited at some of the unique app possibilities coming out such as 1Password, New York Times and iStudiez Pro. Also, the lack of information about basic apps such as weather, stocks, etc. really makes me think that Apple will be incorporating some kind of “Dashboard”.
