Having trouble updating iTunes 9 Genius?

If you’re having trouble updating your Genius information in iTunes 9, try this quick fix I worked out:

  1. Quit iTunes
  2. Delete the folder “<Your Username>/Library/Cookies”
  3. Open iTunes
  4. Turn on/update Genius

After that, it should work fine. This is just a temporary fix until the servers calm down a little bit from all the people trying to use them.
