The coolest #EMS app I’ve seen
Breakfast
Lauren: Wait...wait...so...umm...if I pay for breakfast, does that mean I can pick the place?
Me: We're going to IHOP.
Lauren: OH! Okay! Good. That's the place I was going to pick.
Phoney for Twitter for Mac
matthewrex:
With the launch of the Mac App Store today, Twitter for Mac launched as well. It’s a fantastic update/replacement for Tweetie Mac. Loren & Co. have hit it out of the park, and as usual, I want to compliment their work with a piece of my own.
I present to you a Twitter for Mac Phoney icon. Created with Twitter’s strict guidelines in mind ;-)

Bloomberg Doesn't Get It
Now that this huge blizzard is behind us and another one is apparently coming tomorrow, I feel like I need to vent a little bit about the way Mayor Bloomberg handled the response.

Flight Control? — I still find it weird to see iOS apps coming over to the Mac. I love...
Aircraft engineers are funny people
mbisteni:
After every flight, UPS pilots fill out a form, called a “gripe sheet” which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft. The mechanics correct the problems; document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight.
Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor. Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by...

Unknown age female, found unconscious at party
Police Officer: You're hammered. What is your name?
Girl: Bob.
Police Officer: Bob? How old are you, Bob?
Girl: Twelve.
Police Officer: Tell me your real name of I'm going to put you in handcuffs.
Girl: My name is Bob. Seriously. I am twelve. And I am drunk. But I'm okay.
Police Officer: Okay? You were passed out on the lawn.
Girl: But I'm Bob!
