First Impressions: iPhone 4
Finally got it! After waiting around all day, calling FedEx more times than I’d like to admit and nearly attacking the nice delivery man when he dropped it off, the new iPhone is here.
It’s beautiful.
Popped it out of the box, turned it on and the screen eats your eyeballs. It’s amazing. The color is so crisp and there’s pixels oozing out all over the place. It’s...

clientsfromhell:
Client: “Whats your fees to do this template?”
Me: “$40 per hour.”
Client: “Thats steep. How do I know you won’t bill me for extra hours.”
Me: “If you want to be sure you can come and watch.”
Client: “No wiseguy, give me a call whenever you start working on it and whenever you take breaks. I will keep count of the hours.”

This is going to be rough. Today, Apple released iOS 4.0 that includes over 100 new features and enhancements including multitasking, folders, better iBooks app and more.
Part of me REALLY wants to download it but I think I should wait until Thursday to make the excitement of the new iPhone coming even better. Ugh.

Facebook For iPhone Updated: No iOS 4 Support, No... →
Great article from TechCrunch about how the Facebook for iPhone application has gone downhill fast. They point out issues such as the lack of native iPad support, no iOS4 support, a broken UI, and an unfinished implementation of video viewing. All totally valid points.

iPhone 4 Confirmed to Have 512MB of RAM (Twice the... →
It’s been confirmed that the new iPhone 4, being released in a matter of days, will come with a greatly appreciated 512MB of RAM. That’s double what’s currently in the iPhone 3GS and the iPad.
This, mixed with the A4 chip should make the iPhone 4, in the words of Steve Jobs “scream”.

Southwest employee finds package of human heads →
A Southwest Airlines employee got a rude surprise at work in Little Rock on June 9, and it wasn’t from an unruly passenger - not a live one, anyway, according to a report on an NBC website.
The employee opened a box from a courier and discovered between 40 and 60 human heads on their way to a medical research facility in Fort Worth, the website and other news organizations reported.

Apple to Launch MobileMe Enhancements: Push... →
Just as I was beginning to contemplate whether paying $100/yr. for MobileMe was worth it, this news comes out. For the device syncing and Find My iPhone features alone, I’ll keep it. Excited to see the new featured. Hopefully, they streamline the interface. I got access to the MobileMe Beta last month and have really liked it since.

AT&T's Server Problems Continue to Cause Problems... →
Looks like all across the United States (and elsewhere), there are still problems with both Apple and AT&T trying to cope with the overwhelming and crippling level of demand being placed on the Apple Store and the servers that store customer information needed to determine pricing, etc.
I started at 4AM EST, was unsuccessful for three hours, gave up at 7AM EST when the Apple Store went...

Consumerism
I was in the car before when I heard a commercial for Dunkin’ Donuts. They’re offering this deal where you can get “any size iced tea, for 99 cents”. They went on to clarify “that’s right folks. Any tea, small, medium or large for only 99 cents”.
What does it say about me - and really culture as a whole that I immediately thought “Why would I get...
