Every time I finish a project, I’m so happy with it (hopefully) that I do nothing but look at it for days and love it. After that I fall into the stage I’m in now where I’m bored and want to tinker on a website, but lately, I’ve wanted to work on a website with purpose - one that people actually look at.

Twitter Updates Officially Become Tweets →
Twitter has begun to change the use of the word “update” to the word “tweet.” It’s a small language change, but carries implications for the microblogging startup. This comes off the heels over the news that Twitter trademarked the word “tweet” and the AP Stylebook declaring “to tweet” legitimate grammar.

Dr. Phil Always Hooks Me
Whenever I come home and turn my TV on, Dr. Phil is just starting. I always SWEAR I’m going to change the channel and somehow the brief dialogue I hear makes me ask an internal question about it and next thing ya know, the show’s over and he’s walking offstage with his wife.

Today was my New York State EMT practical assessment. Besides the written exam in August, we have a skills exam where we have to demonstrate proficiency performing certain skills like patient assessment, handling a cardiac arrest, immobilizing a spine, controlling bleeding, splinting, basically everything you can an EMT for, we have to be able to do.

Nissan is developing an application to interface with it’s forthcoming electric car to monitor things like battery charge. While this may not be WOW COOL to you, it does open up some exciting possibilities about cars interfacing with iPhones in the future.
